2012 Buick Regal GS

As luck would have it the delivery service brought me a beautiful 2012 Buick Regal GS, White Diamond Clear Coat paint graced the other skin of this beauty, inside was accented with Ebony and Piano Black treatment, this GS is gorgeous front to rear top to bottom!
To be honest I wasn't all that excited, in fact it sat in the driveway one full day without me climbing behind the wheel and seeing what my Grandpa's car had for me.

I start with an apology to Buick and their team of engineers; I got behind the wheel and pushed the start to go button…nothing! (This is where the luck comes in) Geez, now I have to call Buick, a tow truck, geez!  But wait, I looked at the instrument panel and it said in bright flashing words, "depress clutch pedal to start"!  Really?  A six speed manual in my Grandpa's car?  Yes sir, a fine six-speed manual I might add, and my excitement level shot through the roof, I was off to the back roads heading to Julian with all the happiness I could muster.

In front of that sweet transmission was a very potent 2.0-liter high output turbocharged 4 cylinder, 4 cylinders?  Take one out and if you don't come back with the biggest grin on your mug, stop driving!

We are talking about 270 horsepower and 295 foot pounds of torque and she is turbocharged.  Did I mention you can get 19 city miles per gallon and 27 miles per gallon on the open road?

This is not your or my Grandpa's Buick unless he is Richard Petty!  The rest of the car is as good as the drivetrain.  The car has been redesigned to give it the appeal we have been looking for, the interior is just as grand.  GS specific interior with bucket seats, center console and a dash layout that will keep you informed and comfortable.

XM Radio, Harmon Kardon Sound System that pumps out 336 watts of power and a 5.1 Matrix Surround System with nine speakers!  You also get a simple Bluetooth system that hooks up like a snap so you are fully connected.

You and your passengers get plenty of connectivity throughout the Regal, front seat back seat!  I still can't believe it is a Buick, if Buick keeps this up they will soar to the top of the vehicle food chain!  19-inch allow wheels, front and rear fascia treatment, it is all good!  There is nothing I didn't like about this Buick!

You can build the Buick of your dreams on Buick's website, and the starting price is $34,450 plus tax, license and transportation for this model.
