2008 Roush 427R Trak Pak Mustang
Do you like Mustangs?  Well if you do, you will love the Roush 427R Trak Pak Mustang.  This car is built for the racer in mind and I don't mean street racer.  This car is built for Track Days which is the up and coming sport among professional and non professional drivers.
Ken Grody Ford in the Car Country Carlsbad Auto Mall is the distributor for Roush in North County and if you have that legal need for speed, then the Trak Pak is for you.  Roush gives you the driver the opportunity to adjust all four shocks, camber caster front and rear sway bars and even tweak the rear wing that stands tall on the tail of this Mustang.
Driving the Trak Pak Mustang can be civil or out of control depending on your right foot, when civil you hear the drone of a special tuned exhaust. One thing I noticed was the temperature of the coolant was around 180 degrees thanks to a special cooling system and inlet system that really did the job.  Inside the Mustang you will find stock bucket seats with Roush embroidered in the head rests, custom foot pedals, a stock steering wheel, but all new Roush gauges with a lime green back lighting.   On top of the dash you will find three more Roush gauges, and oil temp. Coolant temp and supercharger boost with vacuum gauge that will help you keep track of this monster.

Between you and your terrified passenger is a short throw Hurst shifter that is tight and precise with a retro black shift ball with Roush embedded in the sides of the ball.  Yes,  you still get a lot of Ford creature comforts, A/C, heat, great sound system and you can even turn off the traction control if you're brave enough.  I was and watched the world go by sideways!  I only did it once thank you!

The exterior of the Mustang was all me, no chrome black tire and wheel package snow white exterior with a black hood stripe and black rear wing.  The only chrome was on the rear emblem that states it is a 427 Roush Mustang.
Not only does it look fast, it is fast thanks to the supercharged 4.6 liter V8 under the hood and for your protection it comes with Hi temp brake fluid.

For those track outing it comes with Hark DTC 70 and HT 10 rear brake pads that are to be used only on the track (They are in the trunk).  Did I mention you get a six piston caliper system up front and a two piece rotor and slotted rotors in the rear, not only does it go, it stops well too.
You have $60,000, you can part with?  Well if you do, it is worth every penny if for nothing else, but the looks you get.
Check out Ken Grody Ford in Car Country Carlsbad, not only do they sell them, they can set the car up for you as well!
