2007 Certified Used Toyota Camry LE

Has you old clunker finally given up the ghost but you can't afford a new car?  Well have you ever thought about a Certified Used Car?  Not a used car but a Certified Used Car?  What is the difference?  Well a Certified Used car has been inspected by a Certified Technician and in this case a Toyota Certified Technician from Toyota of Escondido.
Along time ago Toyota figured out if they brought in a bunch of pre-owned Toyota's, inspected them and found they had been well taken care of that they would give them, a Comprehensive and a Limited Powertrain Warranty so the customer could drive with confidence that this car will give them years of service.
If fact most manufacturers have followed Toyota's idea and buying Certified is in my mind the best way to buy a car or truck.
I'm driving a 207 Toyota Camry LE with 12,334 miles on it and I bet you couldn't tell it was used.  This particular vehicle came from Toyota of Escondido's rental fleet which is a very good thing.  You see all of the rentals get full service by the dealerships award winning service department.  This car was loaded with options that you won't have to pay for, that is another benefits of buying Certified Used.
Looking this Camry over everything looks new and that is because if anything looks worn it gets replaced during the 160-Point Quality Assurance Inspection then it gets a complete detail and a wax job then off to the lot.
The Comprehensive Warranty will get you 3-months or 3,000 miles of driving which ever comes first and the list of covered items is extensive plus you get a Powertrain Warranty that covers the major components of the vehicle for 84 months or 100,000 miles which ever comes first.  I must remind you the Powertrain Warranty starts with the first day it was sold so in this cars case you still have almost all of the 84 months and 100,000 miles left.  You also get 24-hour a day and 365 days of the year Roadside Assistance and not if you just break down, lock your keys in the car, run out of gas, low on fluids, towing due to a breakdown or an accident to your nearest Toyota dealer, flat tire change, or jump start a dead battery all covered and this coverage is for 7-years or 100,000 miles and is good all over the United States and Canada, sorry no assistance in Mexico.
Now there is a $50 deductible but that is reasonable plus you get Travel Protection which will be provided for the duration of your Toyota Certified Used Vehicle Warranty and this service will reimburse you for hotel rooms up to $50 a day for four days and if you need replacement transportation during your warranty repairs you also get Substitute Transportation Warranty which will reimburse you up to $35 per day for five days.
This is just a quick look at what you could get by buying a Certified Used Toyota from Toyota of Escondido or any other Toyota dealership in your area just stop by and chat with the salesman about all of the benefits of buying Certified.
Have you ever wondered about the vehicles, Toyota's included, that don't make the Certified Used Car Standards?  They end up at auctions and back on little iron lots that will sell you a vehicle for a little less with a small warranty if any and then your on your own when it comes to a car that you may pay a lot for but end up with nothing but troubles.
Remember if it is not Certified take it to a dealer and have it inspected, it is worth the inspection fee not to get burned.  But my suggestion is go Certified.  You should see the Camry I tested up close, it not only rides well but it still smells new, and the price will blow you away!  If you can't make it up to Toyota of Escondido check out their website at www.toyotaofescondido.com, or stop by their dealership on the corner of Highway 78 and Broadway, you can't miss them!

Next week a Ford from Ken Grody Ford in car Country Carlsbad, stay tuned!
